If you are on repeat medications you will be given a prescription slip with a tear-off counterfoil. The counterfoil lists all your medications on repeat. Just tick the items you require and hand it in at reception or leave it in the request box in the waiting area. If there are any medications you no longer take, then please let us know so that we can amend your counterfoil accordingly.

Please allow 48 (working) hours for your prescription to be prepared. Remember prescriptions will not be issued before they are due. Please note that items on repeat might take longer than 48 hours to issue.
If you send your request with a stamped addressed envelope we will return the prescription to you. It would be advisable to order at least 5 days in advance due to potential postal delays.
The surgery is now able to send your prescriptions for your repeat medications straight to any pharmacy you choose to nominate for this service. There is no longer any need to collect your repeat medication prescription form our reception just go to your nominated pharmacy and collect them there.
If you have your prescription delivered, please mark clearly on your counterfoil or if you order via the Internet or Digital TV type in the name of the pharmacy you wish to use. Most pharmacies in the area offer a home delivery service. Please remember that once your prescription has been collected from the surgery, it is not our responsibility to contact the pharmacy if there is a delay in delivery.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
